Lee Child is a British thriller writer born in Coventry, England in 1954, best known for creating the Jack Reacher series of novels. He worked for nearly two decades in British television production before turning to fiction writing after losing his job in 1995. His debut novel Killing Floor launched one of the most successful action thriller franchises in publishing history.
