Raina Telgemeier

Raina Telgemeier is an American cartoonist born on May 26, 1977, best known for her autobiographical graphic novels including the New York Times bestsellers Smile, Sisters, and Guts. She is also celebrated for her graphic novel adaptations of Ann M. Martin's beloved The Baby-Sitters Club series, which introduced a new generation of young readers to the beloved characters. Her accessible, emotionally resonant storytelling has made her one of the most widely read graphic novelists for middle-grade audiences.
