Callie loves theater but can't sing, so she works as set designer on her middle school's stage crew, determined to build a Broadway-worthy set on a tiny budget despite not knowing much about carpentry, falling ticket sales, and crew members who struggle to work together. Onstage and offstage drama escalates once the actors are chosen and two cute brothers enter the picture.
