About “Ah, Wilderness!”
Ah, Wilderness! is a comedy play written by American playwright Eugene O'Neill. It premiered on Broadway at the Guild Theatre on October 2, 1933. Unlike O'Neill's other works, which often have tragic themes, this play features a happy ending for the main character and portrays a contented family in early 20th-century America.
