About “Airman”

In 2008, Eoin Colfer wrote a novel about Conor, a 14-year-old boy on the island of Great Saltee. One night, Conor is falsely accused of a serious crime and imprisoned by Hugo Bonvilain. He is locked in a dungeon and labeled a traitor. Conor wants to escape and prove his innocence to regain his life, family, and friends—including his princess. He learns that the only way out is to fly, a challenge that has never been accomplished before. The story is a swashbuckling adventure aimed at readers aged 11 and older.
