Aoi Honō is a Japanese coming-of-age manga series written and illustrated by Kazuhiko Shimamoto, serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Young Sunday from March 2007 to July 2008 and later in Monthly Shōnen Sunday from May 2009. It is a fictionalized account of Shimamoto's time as a student at the Osaka University of Arts, alongside Hideaki Anno, Hiroyuki Yamaga, and Takami Akai.
