About “Honō no Tenkōsei”
Honō no Tenkōsei is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kazuhiko Shimamoto. It was serialized in the Shogakukan magazine Weekly Shōnen Sunday from 1983 to 1985. The series was adapted into a two-episode original video animation (OVA) in 1991 by Gainax. Later, it was also adapted into a live-action series titled Blazing Transfer Students, which premiered on Netflix in 2017.
