Utopia has been achieved: disease, hunger, poverty, and war exist only in history tapes, and applied genetics gives people the bodies of athletes and lifespans over a century. Yet Hamilton Felix, the genetically superior culmination of a chosen star line, is bored and sees no reason for humanity to continue, making him an unlikely recruit for a secret cabal of revolutionaries planning to overthrow utopia's leadership.
