About “Book of Liang”
The Book of Liang was compiled under Yao Silian and completed in 635. It is a historical record of the Liang dynasty. Yao Silian relied heavily on a manuscript written by his father, Yao Cha. This original manuscript no longer exists on its own, but Yao Cha's comments appear in several chapters of the completed work. The Book of Liang serves as a key historical source for the Liang dynasty, based on materials passed down from Yao Cha. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
