About “Cardcaptor Sakura”
Cardcaptor Sakura is a Japanese manga series created by the group Clamp. It was first published in the shōjo magazine Nakayoshi from June 1996 to August 2000, and later released in 12 tankōbon volumes by Kodansha between November 1996 and July 2000. The story follows Sakura Kinomoto, an elementary student who accidentally releases magical cards into the world. These cards have unique powers and can only be controlled by those with magical ability. Sakura must collect them to avoid disaster. A sequel titled Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card was released in Nakayoshi from July 2016 to January 2024, continuing Sakura's journey in junior high school.
