About “Carve the Mark”

On a planet ruled by violence and vengeance, everyone develops a currentgift, a unique power meant to shape the future. Cyra, sister of a brutal tyrant, has a currentgift that gives her pain and power, which her brother exploits to torture his enemies. Akos, from the peace-loving nation of Thuvhe, is captured with his brother by Shotet soldiers and becomes desperate to save him, forcing Akos and Cyra to decide whether to help each other survive or destroy one another.
