The lives of Cyra Noavek and Akos Kereseth are ruled by fates spoken by oracles at their births, fates that are inescapable once determined. Akos loves Cyra despite being fated to die in service to her family, and when Cyra's father Lazmet Noavek, a soulless tyrant thought dead, reclaims the Shotet throne and ignites a barbaric war, the two must decide how far they will go to stop him, even if it means Cyra taking his life or Akos giving his own.
