About “Darwin's children”

Eleven years after the discovery of the SHEVA retrovirus in human DNA, which triggered mutations leading to the emergence of genetically enhanced children, the story follows the lives of these adolescents who are now facing societal persecution. The children, marked by advanced traits and harboring viruses that could threaten the non-mutated human population, are quarantined in special schools, targeted by bounty hunters, and demonized by the public, while some scientists and others resist government efforts to control them.
