About “Dragon Teeth”

The year is 1876. Two paleontologists, Othniel Charles Marsh and Edwin Drinker Cope, are competing in the American West to find dinosaur fossils. Their rivalry, known as the Bone Wars, involves deception and sabotage. William Johnson, a Yale student, joins Marsh on an expedition. Marsh suspects William is spying for Cope and leaves him in Cheyenne, Wyoming. William then teams up with Cope and makes a major fossil discovery. Protecting this find forces William to face dangerous people and test his strength. The story is set during the gold rush and among warring Native American tribes.
