About “Eye in the sky”
Eye in the Sky is a science fiction novel by Philip K. Dick, published in 1957. The story follows eight people who are sent into alternate universes after an accident at the Belmont Bevatron. These universes are later shown to be reflections of each person's inner fears and prejudices. The novel explores themes such as subjective reality, theology, and criticism of authoritarianism. The title refers to the eye of God, a character in the universe of religious fundamentalist Arthur Sylvester.
