About “Fantastic Mr Fox”

Mr. Fox is an extremely clever anthropomorphized fox who lives with his wife and four little foxes, stealing food nightly from cruel farmers Boggis, Bunce, and Bean. Tired of being outwitted, the farmers try to capture and kill him, but the foxes escape underground; when the farmers wait them out, Mr. Fox tunnels into the farmers' houses to steal food, aided by a friendly Badger, and hosts a celebratory banquet for all the starving animals, inviting them to live with him underground. It is a 1970 children's book written by Roald Dahl.
