About “The BFG”
The BFG stands for 'Big Friendly Giant.' Unlike other giants, he doesn't travel to different countries to eat children but instead catches dreams. When an orphan girl spots him, he kidnaps her to keep his existence secret, but once in giant land they become friends and set off to save all the children from the hungry giants. It is a 1982 British children's book written by Roald Dahl and illustrated by Quentin Blake.
