Four Past Midnight is a 1990 short story collection by Stephen King. It is his second collection of novellas, following Different Seasons. The book won the Bram Stoker Award for Best Collection in 1990 and was nominated for a Locus Award in 1991. The collection includes four stories. "The Langoliers" follows passengers stranded in an empty world after a flight. "Secret Window, Secret Garden" follows a writer troubled by a mysterious visitor. "The Library Policeman" involves a man searching for truth in a small town. "The Sun Dog" tells of a teenager drawn into a supernatural encounter.
