About “Galactic pot-healer”
Galactic Pot-Healer is a science fiction novel by Philip K. Dick, first published in 1969. The story follows a man who heals pots in a totalitarian future Earth. He is summoned by an alien called Glimmung, who recruits him for a mission on a planet known as Plowman's Planet or Sirius Five. The mission involves a mystical quest to raise a sunken cathedral from an alien ocean. The novel explores themes such as repressive societies, fatalism, and the search for meaning. Dick also wrote a children's book, Nick and the Glimmung, set in the same universe, which was published in 1988, after his death.
