About “Kilmeny of the orchard”

The sun of a day in early spring was shining over the red brick buildings of Queenslea College and the surrounding grounds. It filtered through the bare, budding maples and elms, casting delicate, fleeting patterns of gold and brown on the paths. The light also brought the daffodils to life, causing them to peek up from under the windows of the co-eds' dressing-room with a green and lively appearance.
