About “Lies, Inc”

The Unteleported Man is a 1966 science fiction novel by Philip K. Dick, originally published as a novella in 1964. The story is set in a future where a one-way teleportation technology allows 40 million people to move to a colony called Whale's Mouth on an Earth-like planet. Advertisements portray the colony as a lush green utopia. A man who owns a failing spaceship travel company attempts to take the 18-year journey to the colony to bring back any unhappy settlers. He faces opposition from powerful forces trying to prevent him from uncovering the truth about the colony.
