About “Mute”

Knot, a mutant-bred individual exiled from mankind, opposes the Galactic Empire's Coordinating Computer for personal reasons. Finesse, an imperial agent aided by Hermine, a psychic weasel, and Mit, a telepathic hermit crab, lures Knot into serving the Computer, leading them on a perilous journey across time and space to a world ruled by the renegade Piebald, who has gained mastery over the Computer and threatens humanity's future.
