Piers Anthony

Piers Anthony (born Piers Anthony Dillingham Jacob on August 6, 1934, in Oxford, England) is a British-American science fiction and fantasy author who immigrated to the United States as a child. He is best known for the long-running Xanth series, a humorous fantasy set in a magical land where every human is born with a unique spell. With dozens of novels spanning multiple decades, he has established himself as one of the most prolific authors in the fantasy genre.
