About “Nightlife”

When the cousin of Los Angeles underworld figure Hugo Poole is found shot to death in his Portland, Oregon, home, police find only several long strands of blond hair at the scene, suggesting a second victim may have been involved. Portland homicide detective Catherine Hobbes investigates the case and becomes entangled in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game with a serial killer who changes her appearance and identity at will, while also navigating an uneasy alliance with private detective Joe Pitt, who is hired by Hugo Poole to conduct a parallel investigation.
