In a small New England town over half a century ago, a boy playing with toy soldiers looks up to see the striking new minister, Reverend Jacobs, who with his beautiful wife will transform the church and town before tragedy strikes and he curses God and is banished. Decades later, Jamie, now sober after years of addiction touring with bands, reunites with Jacobs in a pact revealing the terrifying meanings of Revival.
