January Marlow is one of three survivors when her plane crashes on Robinson's island, where she joins Robinson, a determined loner, and another survivor. Under the tropical conditions of the island, the survivors experience a range of strange events, including a disappearance, blackmail, and sexual tension, while January keeps a journal as encouraged by Robinson.
