About “Special deliverance”

Professor Edward Lansing investigates a student's term paper on Shakespeare after discovering it was purchased from a slot machine, leading him to a series of machines that transport him to a strange new world. There, he joins a group of displaced individuals—including a Brigadier, a Parson, a female engineer, a lady poet, and a caretaker robot—on a quest that takes them to an immense blue cube, an ancient city, and ultimately presents them with a life-or-death challenge tied to the development of a galactic society.
