The Body

About “The Body”

A group of four boys explores the Maine woods, where they encounter a dead body. The discovery leads them to confront themes of life and death, as well as their own mortality. The story takes place in a natural setting, with elements of sunlight and thunder contributing to the atmosphere. It is part of Stephen King's collection Different Seasons and is also published under the title The Body / The Breathing Method.
