About “The Hedge Knight”
Set a hundred years before A Song of Ice and Fire, this story follows young squire Dunk as he seeks to become a knight in the Seven Kingdoms. Carrying his fallen master's sword and shield, he needs a sponsor to enter a tournament, and along the way gains a squire, Egg, who has his own hidden motivations, amid a world of distrust and political intrigue.
