About “Dutiya Yazawin”
Dutiya Maha Yazawindawgyi is the second official chronicle of the Konbaung Dynasty of Burma (Myanmar), compiled by the Royal Historical Commission of Burma. Commonly known as the Second Chronicle, it is a continuation of Hmannan Yazawin and adds the official record of events between 1821 and 1854, including the two disastrous wars with the British.
