Raistlin Majere, now a Black Robe wizard, travels to Neraka ostensibly to serve the Dark Queen Takhisis but actually to pursue his own quest for power involving a dragon orb. Takhisis, learning of his plans, sends draconians against him and orders Kitiara to trap the Gods of Magic during the Night of the Eye, forcing Raistlin to flee and confront the brother he betrayed.
