Margaret Weis

Margaret Weis is an American fantasy author born on March 16, 1948, best known for co-creating the Dragonlance universe alongside Tracy Hickman, beginning with the landmark Chronicles trilogy. Her Dragonlance novels, set in the world of Krynn, helped define the genre of tie-in fantasy fiction and have sold tens of millions of copies worldwide. Beyond Dragonlance, she has continued writing fantasy across numerous series and founded her own game publishing company, Margaret Weis Productions.
