About “Worth Dying For”

In the corn county of Nebraska, Jack Reacher finds himself in the middle of deadly trouble. He comes into conflict with the Duncans, a local clan that has kept the county under their control through fear. Reacher is also drawn to the unresolved mystery of a missing child from decades ago. The Duncans want him gone, but their involvement is only the beginning of a larger criminal network that extends beyond the country. Reacher tries to stay away from the trouble, but it is impossible for him to do so. This 2010 novel by Lee Child follows Reacher as he uncovers the deeper layers of the crime and faces the dangers that come with it.
