The long years of near-utopia have ended. Peace and order no longer exist. Corruption, deception, and insurgency have taken root within the leadership of the Hives, which are nations without fixed locations. For decades, the leaders of the Hives maintained global stability through secret, mathematically planned murders. This was done to prevent any faction from dominating and to keep the balance of power. The Hives' image of strength was the only thing keeping the world from descending into chaos. However, as the secret becomes more widely known, this image is beginning to break apart. The world, once a pinnacle of human civilization, is now on the brink of war. Everyone, from the Hives to the hiveless, from Utopians to sensayers, from emperors to the downtrodden, from warriors to saints, is scrambling to prepare for the inevitable conflict.
