A 1990 novel by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, part of the Death Gate Cycle, set on the jungle world of Pryan, where elves dwell in the treetops, humans live below them, and dwarves live near the ground. Generations of race hatred between them will not heal, even under the threat of annihilation by legendary tytans, forcing an elf, a human, and a dwarf to unite to save the world.
