A 1991 novel by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, part of the Death Gate Cycle, set on Abarrach, the Realm of Stone, a barren world of underground caverns built around a core of molten lava where the lesser races appear to have died off. Haplo and Alfred, enemies by heritage but traveling companions by necessity, may learn more here than either dares about the history of the Sartan and the future of their descendants.
