The Ascension Factor (1988) is the fourth and final novel in the Destination: Void series by Frank Herbert and Bill Ransom. It is set twenty-five years after The Lazarus Effect and concludes the story of humans who were left on the planet Pandora by the voidship Earthling nearly 480 years earlier.
