11 standalone books

Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller (1759-1805) was a German physician, playwright, poet, and philosopher. During the last seventeen years of his life he developed a productive, if complicated, friendship with Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. They frequently discussed aesthetics, and Schiller encouraged Goethe to finish sketched works, a collaboration that led to the period known as Weimar Classicism and to the satirical poem collection Xenien.
