About “Acción humana”

Human Action: A Treatise on Economics is a non-fiction work by Ludwig von Mises, an Austrian economist and philosopher. It is regarded as his most significant work, in which he presents a defense of laissez-faire capitalism through the lens of praxeology, a method for understanding human decision-making. Mises opposed positivism in economics and argued for an a priori approach to economic theory. He also supported methodological individualism and the idea of self-evident economic laws. The book claims that the free-market economy is more effective than government-planned systems and is essential to the development of civilization. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
