About “Born to Run”

Patrick found a squeaking and squealing creature inside a bag and jumped into a canal. This greyhound, later named Best Mate, starts his journey as an unwanted animal. He faces many challenges, including being cast aside, kidnapped, or living on the streets. Despite these difficulties, Best Mate survives and becomes a beloved companion. His story follows his transformation from a burden to a cherished pet and eventually to a champion race dog. The book tells of his adventures and his search for a real home.
