About “Kensuke's kingdom”

Michael's parents buy a yacht and take him on a round-the-world sailing trip. During a fierce storm, Michael is washed overboard and ends up on the shore of a remote island. There, he meets Kensuke, a former Japanese soldier who survived the war and the bombing of Hiroshima, though his family was lost. As Michael and Kensuke form a strong bond, Kensuke must decide whether to leave his isolated life behind to help Michael return to his parents.
