About “Curculio”
Curculio, also known as The Weevil, is a Latin comedic play written for the early Roman theatre by Titus Maccius Plautus. It is the shortest of Plautus's surviving works. The play is part of the Roman theatrical tradition and reflects the style of comedy popular in ancient Rome. Little is known about its specific plot, but it is recognized as a significant example of Plautus's contributions to Roman literature.
