About “Moon Palace”

Marco Fogg is a loner and dreamer who is forced to leave his Manhattan apartment and spends his days wandering Central Park as a vagrant. He is rescued by a kind woman named Kitty Wu and later becomes a live-in helper for an invalid old man. As he cares for the man, Marco becomes deeply interested in the old man's life story, which consumes his thoughts and attention. The novel explores Marco's growing fascination with the man's past.
