My Friend Hitler is a 1968 neoclassical drama written by Japanese author Yukio Mishima. The play features Adolf Hitler, Gustav Krupp, Gregor Strasser, and Ernst Röhm, who serve as characters to express Mishima’s views on fascism and beauty. It was published in book form on October 13, 1968, and first performed on stage in 1969, running from January 18 to 31. Mishima also performed the role of Hitler in one of the productions.
