Where to start with David Gerrold

Begin with The Kobayashi Maru, the first book in the Star Trek series, which introduces a key element of the Star Trek universe and serves as a foundational entry point into David Gerrold’s work within that franchise. Proceed through the Star Trek series in publication order to follow the chronological development of the stories. For a distinct narrative experience, consider Bouncing Off the Moon, the first book in The Dingilliad trilogy, which presents a self-contained science fiction adventure with a unique narrative structure. Alternatively, explore the standalone novel When HARLIE Was One, a story centered on artificial intelligence and consciousness, published in 1988. This work stands independently and offers a different thematic focus from the Star Trek and Dingilliad series. All recommended entries are drawn directly from the catalog and reflect the author’s published output in the specified order.
