Hannes Bok

1 series 2 books in order

Wayne Francis Woodard, known by the pseudonym Hannes Bok, was an American artist and illustrator who created nearly 150 covers for science fiction, fantasy, and detective fiction magazines, as well as hundreds of interior illustrations. He contributed to calendars, fanzines, and book dust jackets for publishers such as Arkham House and Fantasy Press. Bok's paintings were distinguished by a luminous quality achieved through a glazing process learned from Maxfield Parrish. He shared an inaugural 1953 Hugo Award for science fiction achievement.
