About “Spider's Web”
Clarissa, the second wife of Henry Hailsham-Brown, is known for creating stories of adventure. However, when a murder occurs in her drawing-room, she faces real-life drama that is more challenging than her fictional tales. She suspects that her young stepdaughter, Pippa, may be the murderer. The story was originally written as a play by Agatha Christie for Margaret Lockwood. It premiered in London on 13th December 1954. The play was later adapted into a novel in 2000 by Charles Osborne.
