About “The Man in the Brown Suit”
A 1924 novel by Agatha Christie. Newly orphaned Anne Beddingfeld witnesses a man fall to his death on the tracks at Hyde Park Corner tube station and picks up a dropped note reading '17.1 22 Kilmorden Castle'; after a ballet dancer is found strangled and diamonds go missing, Anne boards the liner Kilmorden Castle, where strangers pillage her cabin and try to strangle her as she pursues a killer known only as 'The Colonel' as far as Africa.
